Brian is an Ordained Bishop with the Church of God (Cleveland, TN). He graduated from Lee University in 1991 (when it was called Lee College) & has been active in full time ministry since. Lori also graduated from Lee with a degree in Business and had spent most of the last 18 years raising Morgan & Caleb.
This family served together as Youth Pastor in Alabama, Florida & Georgia before moving to Maine in 2001 to pastor the Royal Ridge Church of God in Scarborough, Maine. After a season on transition, Brian is now serving as Executive Staff Pastor at New Covenant Fellowship Church of God in Southaven, Mississippi with Pastor Larry P. Hays.
Believing that missionary support is vital to a church's spiritual and financial health, Brian has supported missionaries and mission projects throughout his ministry. This support includes leading 18 trips to 3 different countries with more than 350 people participating in these efforts. Anyone who knows this man or his ministry are aware that world (foreign) missions is close to his heart.
In summer, 2011, the Holy Spirit prompted Brian to launch this ministry - THE SENDERS - to be a resource for churches as well as missionaries in the days ahead. He has applied to Church of God World Missions for missionary status and is planning to travel to Honduras in October to re-establish relationships with church leaders there & make plans for a group mission trip in June, 2012.
Financial support, as will be outlined on this website soon, will GO DIRECTLY TO THE FIELD. Supporters will be given several options to support including those missionaries listed on our missionary page. Eventually we will establish a Training Conference in Honduras for American pastors to pour into the lives of Honduran pastors...while at the same time the American pastors will be blessed, challenged and refreshed by their involvement in this ministry.
