9/7/2011 Update
FIRST NEWSLETTER SENT - Please pray for favor with those who will receive our initial newsletter. Mailed on September 6, 2011, we are praying for 100 people to join us in prayer, 50 people to give a one time donation & 25 to commit to a regular gift to the ministry. This is a new venture that is 100% faith based, so whatever the Holy Spirit puts in the hearts of people to give will meet the need for the ministry HE is calling us to accomplish.
BEFORE THE NEWSLETTER WAS SENT...2 generous contributions were received for a total of $610. These funds will be used (along with gifts from the initial newsletter) to establish this ministry and begin supporting missionaries each month. The goal is to be able to send financial support to our missionaries by October 1. The first financial report will be sent with the Winter 2012 Newsletter in January. PLANNING TRIP IN OCTOBER - A small group will be traveling to San Pedro Sula, Honduras in October for the purpose of planning the trip for June, 2012. At this point there has been interest expressed in the trip from 5 churches in 5 states. Our goal is to expose people to the work of World Missions so they can determine what the Lord would have them do in the days ahead. Pray for our safety and favor!
